A brand new Doctor Who story featuring Peter Davison’s Fifth Doctor is now available.

      Fans of Peter Davison's Fifth Doctor can now buy the new full-cast audio adventure, Doctor Who: The Fifth Doctor Adventures - Helter Skelter, available on the Big Finish website. This latest box set takes the Doctor through three thrilling adventures, starting in 1950s England, moving through 1980s London, and venturing into a futuristic space amusement park.       The Fifth Doctor Adventures: Helter Skelter features the return of Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor, alongside Tegan Jovanka (again portrayed by Janet Fielding) and Vislor Turlough (played by Mark Strickson). Together, the trio of time travelers face three new adventures, including:

      In ‘Field of Miracles’, written by Lauren Mooney & Stewart Pringle, the TARDIS lands in the peaceful village of Heathrington in 1951, where the companions find a thriving community with plenty of food despite the post-war difficulties, and shops brimming with goods. The villagers seem to have everything they desire, even the chance to reunite with deceased loved ones. The Doctor suspects that the wish-granting crystalline entities, the Asteri, are behind this; but can he intervene before the villagers pay a dreadful price?

      In ‘Helter Skelter,’ by James Moran, a bio-engineered planet and amusement park experiences a catastrophic malfunction and begins to disintegrate. The Doctor and his friends are thrown back to their initial arrival on the planet, becoming trapped in a time loop. Only Tegan is aware of the peril they face, leaving the Doctor oblivious. How will Tegan manage to resolve this planet-wide time loop when the Doctor is unaware of it?

      Lastly, ‘Land of Fools’ by Lauren Mooney & Stewart Pringle sees the TARDIS arrive in 1980s London, which is unrecognizable to the trio. In this bizarre new city, a powerful new company called Luqos dominates, while Tegan goes off in search of an old friend. The Doctor pairs up with a young activist named Zan, while Turlough becomes entangled with the mysterious ‘M’ within Luqos, where they encounter an old adversary.
