      Netflix has unveiled a trailer, poster, and images for Legends, an upcoming thriller series created by Neil Forsyth (Guilt). The series centers on a small group of Customs officials, lacking espionage training, who are assigned new identities and basic preparation before going undercover to penetrate some of the most perilous gangs in 1990s Britain.

      Legends boasts a cast that features Tom Burke, Steve Coogan, Hayley Squires, Tom Hughes, Aml Ameen, Jasmine Blackborow, Douglas Hodge, Johnny Harris, Gerald Kyd, Numan Acar, Charlotte Ritchie, Joshua Samuels, Kem Hassan, and Thomas Coombes. Watch the trailer below…

      In the early 1990s, Her Majesty's Customs and Excise was struggling against drug smuggling into Britain. The answer was extraordinary. In a classified operation, a small team of Customs employees went undercover, tasked with infiltrating the country’s deadliest drug gangs.

      However, these individuals were not trained spies. They were everyday men and women taken from regular lives throughout the UK, given basic training, and assigned to create new personas within the criminal underworld. These personas were referred to as Legends.

      Legends is set to premiere on Netflix on May 7th.
