      In a chilling announcement, it has been revealed that 130 million people embark on road trips annually, with 15,400 of them disappearing without a trace. In light of this, Paramount Pictures has released a haunting trailer for their supernatural road film, Passenger.

      Directed by André Øvredal, known for The Autopsy of Jane Doe and The Last Voyage of the Demeter, Passenger follows a young couple who witness a tragic traffic collision, leading to the emergence of a demonic stalker that relentlessly chases them. The film features Jacob Scipio (Maintenance Required), Lou Llobell (Foundation), and Melissa Leo (The Fighter). You can view the trailer and poster below.

      A few weeks into their adventure in a van, the couple comes across a horrific accident that results in the driver's death. Shortly after, they find themselves being followed by a relentless demonic entity that is determined to track their every move.

      Passenger will be in theaters starting May 22nd.
