Doctor Who: The Eighth Doctor Adventures will feature two new companions joining Paul McGann's Eighth Doctor.

      A brand-new audio drama miniseries featuring the Eighth Doctor (Paul McGann) is set to launch this November with The Eighth Doctor Adventures: New Pathways. This series will include six full-cast episodes spread across two box set releases, and it is currently available for pre-order on the Big Finish website.

      Shortly after the Eighth Doctor's initial regeneration, the TARDIS received a rather peculiar call that has puzzled the Doctor for many years. Now, while journeying with his loyal companion Alfie, can the Doctor finally unravel this enigma? And who exactly is Chase Moyo, and what new routes will she lead the TARDIS crew down?

      In this upcoming miniseries, two new companions join the Doctor. The first is Alfie, portrayed by Sam Stafford, who hails from London in the mid-21st century. He is a gentle giant with a kind heart who has been traveling with the Doctor for some time when they meet Matilda ‘Chase’ Moyo (played by Natalie Gumede). Chase, an enthusiast for adventure, has returned to a mundane call center job up north due to her career in the film industry declining. She believes her life to be utterly uneventful, until the day her phone unintentionally connects to the TARDIS.

      In December 2026, Big Finish will release the second box set of the miniseries featuring the following stories:
