      Ahead of the season four premiere tonight, MGM+ has confirmed the renewal of its popular sci-fi horror series From for a fifth and final season, set to air in 2027.

      "We are incredibly excited to share that we’ve officially started working on season 5," said creator Josh Griffin, showrunner Jeff Pinkner, and director Jack Bender in a statement. "This means we will finally bring our story to its conclusion, answering questions and raising new ones along the way. Expect an emotional journey filled with tears and terrors.       The series features Harold Perrineau as Boyd Stevens, the self-appointed sheriff and unofficial mayor of a mysterious, nightmarish town that ensnares its inhabitants. The ensemble cast also includes Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, Ricky He, Chloe Van Landschoot, Corteon Moore, Pegah Ghafoori, David Alpay, Elizabeth Saunders, Avery Konrad, Scott McCord, Nathan D. Simmons, Kaelen Ohm, Angela Moore, A.J. Simmons, Julia Doyle, Robert Joy, and Samantha Brown.
