A famished hippo is set loose in the trailer for the survival thriller Hungry.

      Aura Entertainment has unveiled a poster and trailer for Hungry, the forthcoming survival thriller directed and written by James Nunn (One Shot). The story centers on a group of tourists seeking adventure in the bayou who become the prey of a ferocious, rampaging hippo after getting lost in the perilous Louisiana swamplands.

      The cast features Madison Davenport, Tracey Bonner, Joaquim de Almeida, Samantha Coughlan, Jim Meskimen, Olivia Bernstone, Michel Curiel, and River Codack. Check out the trailer below…

      “Set against the eerie and perilous backdrop of the Louisiana swamps, a group of vacationers sets out on an airboat tour. Oblivious to the hazards of the bayou, they stray off the usual path, enticed by the lure of a unique adventure. Unbeknownst to them, their excursion will evolve into a battle for survival against a hungry hippopotamus hiding in the bayou’s depths.”

      Hungry is scheduled to be released on June 23rd.
