Netflix has unveiled a series of first-look images for its sci-fi thriller The Last House, directed by Louis Leterrier, known for Now You See Me. Starring Greta Lee (Past Lives) and Wagner Moura (The Secret Agent), the film is set to debut on August 7th. Take a look at the images below…
The Last House centers on a family trapped in their home with no escape. As if that scenario isn't terrifying enough, their supplies are dwindling, forcing them to collaborate to endure not just the lack of essentials but also the mysterious, imminent threat that has them confined.
Joining the cast are Riley Chung (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes), Emma Ho (The Baker), Noah Alexander Sosnowski (Section 8), and Gabriel Barbosa (May December). View the first look images here…
Leterrier directs The Last House from a screenplay by Matthew Robinson (Love and Monsters). The film is produced by Chernin Entertainment and 3 Arts Entertainment.
Moura recently received an Academy Award nomination for The Secret Agent and can currently be heard in the Star Wars animated series Maul – Shadow Lord. Meanwhile, Lee most recently appeared in Tron: Ares, which was also directed by Leterrier.
The Last House will be available on Netflix on August 7th.
