Shudder releases trailer for Indonesian folk horror film Smothered.
Shudder has released a trailer for Smothered, a contemporary interpretation of the Indonesian folktale of Malin Kundang. Directed by Kevin Rahardjo and Rafki Hidayat, this folk horror film focuses on Alif, a man grappling with fragmented memories after an accident, who becomes wary of a mysterious older woman who shows up at his house claiming to be his mother.
The cast features Rio Dewanto, Faradina Mufti, Vonny Anggraini, Jordan Omar, Sulthan Hamonangan, Gambit Saifullah, Nova Eliza, and Tony Merle. Check out the trailer below...
