HBO Max unveils a new trailer for the DC series Lanterns.
HBO Max has officially released a new trailer for the upcoming DC Studios series Lanterns, along with the announcement that Laura Linney (Ozark) has joined the cast in an undisclosed role.
Lanterns focuses on the iconic intergalactic peacekeeper Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler) and newcomer John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) as they collaborate to solve a murder in Nebraska.
The cast features Kelly Macdonald as Sheriff Kelly, Garrett Dillahunt as William Macon, Poorna Jagannathan as Zoe, Sherman Augustus and J. Alphonse Nicholson as John Senior, Jasmine Cephas Jones as Bernadette Stewart, and Ulrich Thomsen as Sinestro, with Nathan Fillion returning to his role as Guy Gardner.
The series follows new recruit John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) and legendary Lantern Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler), two space cops pulled into a dark, Earth-focused mystery while investigating a murder in the heart of America.
Lanterns is set to premiere on HBO Max on August 16th.
