Star Trek continues to venture into new narratives on WEBTOON.

      Paramount and WEBTOON have revealed that two original Star Trek webcomic stories will be available on the WEBTOON platform. The first, Star Trek: Stargazers, is currently live, with the first three episodes accessible for free, while Star Trek: Recollection is scheduled to be released this summer.

      Stargazers is a 40-episode young adult queer romance set on Deep Space 9, following a group of young adults as they navigate their lives, friendships, and romantic relationships aboard the station. The narrative centers on Leon, a young man who spends time with his close friends, including Bajoran inventor Churi, his dog Alfie, and his childhood friend Syrrik, who aims to enter Starfleet Academy.

      After an argument between Leon and Syrrik, the two find themselves reconnecting as they become involved in a station-wide animal smuggling plot. Along with a community talent show and interference from Syrrik’s overly strict father, the friends must figure out what kind of future they desire.

      This summer, Recollection, a 40-episode series by writer Sam Maggs, will debut. It follows a young woman who awakens on a ship with no memory of how she arrived there, alongside six other passengers who are in the same predicament. With little trust among them and no clear answers, the ship’s mysterious holopilot, JAID, may be concealing crucial information.

      As the search for answers unfolds, the travelers arrive at a remote outpost, where they meet a Vulcan who seems to recognize the young woman. Receiving a device that unlocks memories, the group discovers that they are largely among the Federation's most wanted, heading toward a reeducation facility. However, one among them is a bounty hunter and another is a covert Federation operative, complicating the trust among them even further.
