Michael Fassbender is back for a rescue operation in the trailer for season 2 of The Agency.

      Paramount+ has released a trailer for the second season of the critically acclaimed espionage thriller series The Agency.

      In Season 2, Michael Fassbender portrays the undercover CIA agent Martian, who will stop at nothing to rescue his girlfriend Samia (Jodie Turner-Smith), who is being held as a political prisoner in Sudan.

      Joining Fassbender and Turner-Smith in the cast are Jeffrey Wright, Katherine Waterson, Harriet Sansom Harris, John Magaro, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, India Fowler, Andrew Brooke, Christian Ochoa Lavernia, Reza Brojerdi, Ambreen Razia, Alex Reznik, Medalion Rahimi, Tessa Ferrer, Clayne Crawford, Keanush Tafreshi, Raza Jaffrey, and Richard Gere, with guest appearances by Dominic West and Hugh Bonneville.       The Agency centers on Martian (Fassbender), a CIA agent living a double life. His partner, Samia (Turner-Smith), is a political prisoner in Sudan, and he will resort to any means necessary to save her, even if it involves betrayal. The only escape leads him further into danger, and he must navigate a treacherous path to protect his love, his life, and his mission.

      The second season of The Agency debuts on Paramount+ on June 21st.
