Madman Films has unveiled a trailer for the Australian fantasy comedy The Fox, which is both written and directed by Dario Russo. The film features Jai Courtney (Dangerous Animals) as a heartbroken heir to a wealthy landowner who, while hunting, captures a shapeshifting fox. The fox offers to help mend his relationship with his unfaithful fiancée if he spares her life. Check out the trailer below…
Nick (Jai Courtney), a friendly heir to a rich rural landowner, finds out that his fiancée, Kori (Emily Browning), is being unfaithful, and he desperately wants to resolve the situation. One evening, he captures a cunning Fox (Olivia Colman), who proposes a deal: if Nick allows her to live, she will assist him in salvaging his relationship. All he needs to do is push Kori into a magical hole that can transform her into the ideal partner. Taking the Fox’s advice, Nick finds that the Kori who reappears seems to be his dream come true, until her unusual new behaviors lead him to reconsider his choice.
The cast of The Fox also features Emily Browning, Damon Herriman, Claudia Doumit, Zlatko Burić, Frankie J. Holden, Heather Mitchell, Kim Gyngell, Sam Neill, Miranda Otto, and Olivia Colman as The Fox.
