Crime thriller "Crooks" releases trailer in anticipation of its premiere at Tribeca.
In anticipation of its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival this weekend, a trailer for the new crime thriller Crooks has been unveiled. The film follows a young couple who rob a casino, but when one of them escapes with the stolen money, they become the target of a notorious hitman.
Directed by Mickey Keating (Ritual, Invader), the movie features Angela Trimbur, Chase Williamson, Melora Walters, and Keith Kupferer. You can watch the trailer below.
After Faye and Johnny hold up a local gangster's poker room, Faye immediately betrays Johnny, absconds with the loot, and soon finds herself on the run from a legendary hitman. Things take a turn for the worse when her car breaks down, leading her to a rundown diner where she encounters Blanche, a delightful waitress with her own hidden secrets.
Crooks will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on Sunday, June 7th, 2026.
