Paramount Pictures has released the inaugural trailer for By Any Means, the forthcoming crime thriller directed by Elegance Bratton.
Set in Mississippi during the 1960s, the film centers on a young FBI agent (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) assigned to investigate the violent murders of civil rights leaders. He teams up with a notorious mafia hitman (Mark Wahlberg), embarking on a mission that merges justice with revenge.

Inspired by real events, the plot follows a young Black FBI agent (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) dispatched to 1960s Mississippi to probe a series of brutal murders of civil rights leaders. Partnered with infamous mafia hitman Greg Scarpa (Mark Wahlberg), he becomes ensnared in a perilous pursuit where the lines between justice and retribution start to fade.
As the system fails, two men, who are otherwise opposites, find common ground: the law has its limits, but they do not.
By Any Means is set to hit theaters on September 4th.
