Hasbro has unveiled the Studio Series versions of Starscream, Prowl, and the Insecticons from The Transformers: The Movie.

      As the 40th anniversary celebrations for the film continue, Hasbro has introduced three new additions to its Studio Series collection based on The Transformers: The Movie, which include a Voyager Class Starscream, a Deluxe Class Prowl, and a three-pack featuring Insecticons Bombshell, Shrapnel, and Kickback.       Commemorate the 40th anniversary of the beloved 1986 film, The Transformers: The Movie, with the MTMTE Collection Starscream. This Transformers Studio Series Starscream figure stands at 17 centimeters (6.75 inches) tall in robot mode and showcases deco and details inspired by The Transformers: The Movie. It is part of the Transformers MTMTE Collection to mark four decades since the animated film's release, which remains popular among fans. The Starscream action figure transforms between robot and jet modes in 27 steps and includes film-inspired null ray accessories that attach in both modes, featuring a recognizable grinning facial expression. Starscream is the ambitious and scheming Decepticon who desires to take Megatron’s place as the leader. The Studio Series Transformers figures offer articulation for impressive display poses.

      Transformers Studio Series MTMTE Collection The Transformers: The Movie Deluxe Class Prowl is also part of this collection. This Prowl figure stands 12.5 cm (5 inches) tall in robot mode and features deco and details drawn from The Transformers: The Movie. It, too, is a component of the Transformers MTMTE Collection celebrating 40 years since the iconic animated film’s release. The Prowl action figure converts from robot to police car modes in 15 steps. It comes with film-inspired blaster and siren bar accessories that attach in both modes. Prowl is characterized as an Autobot military strategist known for his loyalty, patience, and skill. Studio Series Transformers figures are articulated for display-ready poses.

      In The Transformers: The Movie, the Insecticons assisted the Decepticons in their attack on Autobot City, aggressively breaking through barriers. The Transformers Studio Series collectible figure set features 14 cm (5.5 inches) tall figures of Insecticon Bombshell, Insecticon Kickback, and Insecticon Shrapnel. This set is also part of the Transformers MTMTE Collection to celebrate the 40-year milestone since the animated film's debut. Insecticon Bombshell changes from bot to beetle mode in 13 steps, Insecticon Shrapnel transforms from bot to stag beetle in 11 steps, while Insecticon Kickback converts from bot to grasshopper mode in 14 steps. Included are six glow-in-the-dark Energon cube accessories along with weapon accessories for exciting display possibilities. The Studio Series Transformers figures feature articulation for poses worthy of display.
