      Andscape has unveiled a poster and trailer for the upcoming sports drama They Fight, directed by Sheldon Candis. The film is inspired by the 2018 documentary of the same name and revolves around Walt (Andre Holland), a reformed ex-con seeking redemption. He takes on the role of coach for a mismatched group of teenagers, teaming up with his former mentor Slim (Wendell Pierce) to guide the young boxers on their journey to the Junior Nationals. The cast also includes Samira Wiley, Anthony B. Jenkins, Toissaint Francois Battiste, and Mykelti Williamson. Check out the trailer below...

      Walt Manigan (André Holland), a reformed ex-con, returns to Southeast D.C. as a changed person in search of redemption, eager to reclaim his soul. However, he must step back into a place he vowed never to return to—a dilapidated boxing gym struggling to survive under the watchful eye of his former mentor, Slim (Wendell Pierce). Inside, a mismatched trio of young fighters—Quincey, Peanut, and Twin—struggle with their own challenges armed only with determination and boxing gloves. As Walt is drawn back into a world he aimed to leave behind, he comes to realize that his greatest battle was never in the boxing ring.

      They Fight will be available on Hulu and Disney+ starting July 17th.
