IFC has released a poster and trailer for Night Nurse, the forthcoming psychosexual thriller written and directed by Georgia Bernstein.
The film centers on Eleni (Camre Paksoy), a young woman who becomes involved in a series of scam calls while starting her new role at a luxury retirement community. Here, she finds herself in an intimate and dark relationship with a mysterious patient (Bruce Mackenzie). You can watch the trailer below…
At the beginning of her new position in the upscale retirement community, Eleni is pulled into a string of scam calls aimed at the elderly residents. As the community's odd dynamics surround her, she grows more intimate with her enigmatic patient, Douglas, leading to a blurred distinction between care and desire, as well as devotion and delusion.
Night Nurse is set to hit theaters on July 10th.
