With less than three weeks remaining until the eagerly awaited comeback of X-Men ’97, Marvel has released a character introduction trailer for the second season of the X-Men: The Animated Series revival, showcasing the heroic mutants as they gear up to face the merciless supervillain Apocalypse.
The second season of X-Men ’97 features the vocal performances of Ross Marquand as Professor X, Matthew Waterson as Magneto, Ray Chase as Cyclops, Jennifer Hale as Jean Grey, Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, Cal Dodd as Wolverine, Lenore Zann as Rogue, and George Buza as Beast. Season 2 of “X-Men ’97” follows the heroic mutant team, the X-Men, who find themselves divided and displaced across various time periods as they strive to find their way back home. Meanwhile, in the 1990s, new adversaries and rising mutant intolerance emerge in the aftermath of the X-Men’s absence.
X-Men ’97 season 2 is set to debut on Disney+ on July 1st.
