Sky has released a teaser trailer for Possession, a five-part supernatural thriller series from writer Karla Crome (Something Very Bad is Going to Happen) and director Storm Saulter (Sprinter).
Gugu Mbatha-Raw plays Claudia, a young lawyer tasked with contesting an inheritance claim in Jamaica, where a local man (Sheldon Shepherd) disputes a wealthy white aristocrat (Jonny Lee Miller). However, upon arriving, Claudia realizes that the contested former plantation is the very site that has plagued her nightmares.

Claudia (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), an aspiring young bi-racial lawyer, journeys to Jamaica to oppose an inheritance claim filed by a local man, Cudjoe East (Sheldon Shepherd), against Oliver Connaught (Jonny Lee Miller), a wealthy white aristocrat. The situation becomes increasingly disconcerting when Claudia finds out that the disputed estate is the same place that has haunted her dreams: Hope Hill, the former plantation belonging to the Connaught family.
As Claudia and Oliver delve deeper, they reveal a troubling connection between the plantation's brutal history and the ongoing injustices that continue to affect the present.
