Loyalties are put to the test in the new audio drama from Big Finish, Doctor Who: Gallifrey – War Room.

Big Finish Productions has unveiled the third box set in the Worlds of Doctor Who – Gallifrey: War Room series, which takes place during the Time War between Gallifrey and Skaro. This fresh box set features Louise Jameson as Leela and Lalla Ward as Romana, and depicts the ongoing war along with high-ranking Time Lords plotting to assert control over their faction.

Cardinal Ollistra (Carolyn Pickles) now leads the War Room, and others are faced with the choice of either adhering to her orders or attempting to dethrone her. Concurrently, Rassilon has returned and is growing increasingly frustrated with the slow pace of the conflict.

This complete audio box set includes four episodes:

Propaganda by Georgia Cook – Tensions are rising in Low Town, partly due to a rogue broadcast that mocks Rassilon. This incites the furious Rassilon (Richard Armitage) to demand that those responsible be identified and punished immediately. Simultaneously, Rasmus (Chris Jarman), the General (Ken Bones), and Cresta (Faith Omole) find themselves trapped in the Drylands while riots erupt outside, prompting Ollistra (Carolyn Pickles) to strengthen her hold on the War Room.

Resistance by Katharine Armitage – As Eris struggles to unite the faltering Resistance, Ollistra seeks to dismantle it. With both leaders focused on securing victory for their factions, others are left to choose where their loyalties lie.

Hope by Fio Tretheway – Leela has been assigned a task, but she cannot complete it alone. With time running out, she seeks the assistance of an unexpected ally. Failure could lead to disastrous consequences for all involved.

Eye for an Eye by Matt Fitton – The situation is descending into chaos as alliances crumble and missions go awry. Ollistra must comply with Rassilon’s demand for the downfall of the Resistance. Meanwhile, Leela and Rasmus are unaccounted for, and the General and Veklin are given an unwelcome assignment.

The cast of this latest box set also features Beth Chalmers as Commander Veklin, Seán Carlsen as Narvin, Mark Hawkins as Eris, and Faith Omole as Cresta, alongside Anthony Howell, Tom Alexander, Veronica Roberts, Robyn Cooper, Samuel Clemens, Nicholas Cowell, and Janet Amsden.

Gallifrey: War Room: Loyalties is available on the Big Finish website for £19.99 for the download, or £24.99 for both the download and a limited collector’s edition box set. Bundles for the collection, which includes the fourth title set for release in January 2027, are also offered.
