EXO-6 has revealed a sixth-scale figure of Captain James T. Kirk from Star Trek, clad in an environmental suit.

      “Space… the final frontier.” However, when that frontier merges with the menacing realm of interspace, ensnaring a Starfleet vessel in an alien trap, standard duty uniforms are inadequate. EXO-6 introduces the Captain James T. Kirk (Environmental Spacesuit Edition) 1/6 scale museum-quality figure, which captures his appearance from the classic Star Trek: The Original Series Season 3 episode, “The Tholian Web.”

      Designed by costume designer William Ware Theiss with input from Mike Minor, this spacesuit first appeared in “The Tholian Web.” Due to budget limitations during The Original Series, spacesuits were seldom used; this particular design made only one additional appearance in the episode “Whom Gods Destroy.” The suit embodies 1960s retro-futurism, heavily influenced by the genuine optimism of the Apollo-era space race. To fulfill Gene Roddenberry’s vision, the original studio costumes featured a sleek, uninterrupted silhouette for a polished look.
