Tony Gilroy Makes His Comeback in the First Trailer for Behemoth!

      Tony Gilroy, the director of Michael Clayton, is making his long-awaited return to feature filmmaking with his first film in 14 years, titled Behemoth!. The movie features an impressive cast that includes Pedro Pascal, Will Arnett, Eva Victor, Olivia Wilde, and Matthew Lillard. Additionally, it has a remarkable lineup of composers such as Michael Abels, Emily Bear, Lukas Frank, Michael Giacchino, James Newton Howard, Henry Jackman, Nami Melumad, Brandon Roberts, and Alan Silvestri. The first trailer has been released ahead of its December 4 debut from Searchlight Pictures.

      The film's synopsis reads: “Alex Serian (Pedro Pascal), a talented cellist, returns to Los Angeles after two decades away. Music, which has been the all-encompassing current of his life, begins to guide Alex on a journey that will transform him forever.”

      Gilroy shared his thoughts with Vanity Fair on the essence of orchestras: “You might have 90 musicians in one room. If you see them on the street without their instruments, they don't share any similarities. But the moment they start playing, all that individuality fades away. The goal is to merge into a single, unified voice. It's a truly captivating transformation, and I can’t believe no one has made a film about this before.”
