The Doctor, a different Earth, and well-known aliens make their appearance in the latest installment of Doctor Who: The Second Doctor Adventures.

      Michael Troughton’s Second Doctor embarks on new journeys this August in The Second Doctor Adventures: The Haunted Windmill, a fresh full-cast audio drama that transports the Doctor and his companions to an alternate Earth that he has never explored.

      This upcoming box set will include three new stories featuring the Second Doctor and his companions Jamie (Frazer Hines), Zoe (Wendy Padbury), and Raven (Emma Noakes). The new tales include:

      The Haunted Windmill – Following an Emergency Beacon Alert from Gallifrey, the Doctor and his friends devise a desperate escape plan, which leads the TARDIS to a peculiar land that feels strangely familiar.

      The Crystal Ship – Disaster strikes when a rocket-plane mission fails, crashing to Earth without its crew. Professor Quigley and his underappreciated assistant, Liz Shaw, soon encounter the Doctor and Raven, but will pride in science lead to humanity’s downfall?

      The Hungry Glass – An enigmatic mirror, a fleeting figure, and intense static electric discharges capture the attention of the Doctor and his companions, but they are not the only ones drawn to this mysterious, shining event.

      Joining the TARDIS crew are Jon Culshaw as Lethbridge-Stewart, Daisy Ashford as Liz Shaw, Nicholas Briggs as the crystalline Krotons, alongside Ilan Galkoff, Roger Ringrose, Becky Wright, Olivia Woolhouse, and Wayne Forester.

      The Second Doctor Adventures: The Haunted Windmill is now available for pre-order on the Big Finish website, priced at £19.99 for the download or £24.99 for the download and limited collector’s edition. Multibuy bundles are also offered.
