In advance of its world premiere at Tubi FrightFest this August, a trailer, poster, and images for the horror comedy Bad Karaoke have been released online. The film follows a group of bandmates who stumble upon a karaoke machine in the back of a dive bar while on their way to a weekend cabin. However, as the night progresses, they realize the machine is cursed and has a craving for blood.
Directed by Chris Lightbody and Robert J. Steinmiller Jr., the film features a cast that includes Lexi Underwood, Case Walker, Kat Cunning, Kate Miner, Kevin Clayette, and Jonathan Jason Green. Check out the trailer below...
When wedding band keyboardist Emily finds an old karaoke machine in the back of a dive bar, she believes it will lead to an enjoyable evening of singing and camaraderie with her bandmates. Sadly, this karaoke machine has a bloodlust of its own. As the singing commences, so does the violence. When a stellar performance spares someone from the machine’s wrath, the group thinks they've found a way to outsmart it. However, they are quickly proven wrong, and a series of horrifying deaths, along with a visit from a mysterious stranger, makes them realize they may still have a shot at survival.
Tubi FrightFest 2026 is scheduled to take place from August 27th to August 31st, 2026.
