Venice Film Festival Reveals 2026 Program
In anticipation of the 83rd Venice Film Festival, scheduled from September 2-12, with a jury led by Maggie Gyllenhaal and including members such as Kaouther Ben Hania, Johnnie To, Xavier Giannoli, Shahrbanoo Sadat, Daniel Blumberg, and Francesco Casetti, the festival lineup has been revealed.
Notable films include new works from directors Lee Chang-dong, Julia Loktev, Tsai Ming-liang, Werner Herzog, Lav Diaz, Luca Guadagnino, Robert Greene, Laura Poitras, Mariano Llinás, Danny Boyle, Nanni Moretti, Lance Oppenheim, Paul Schrader, Shinya Tsukamoto, Martin McDonagh, Wim Wenders, Hirokazu Kore-eda, and others.
