This figure features an 8-inch portrayal of the Man of Steel, reflecting Christopher Reeve’s performance in Richard Donner’s 1978 classic, Superman: The Movie. NECA presents this 8-inch clothed Superman action figure, inspired by the iconic 1978 film starring Christopher Reeve! After being sent to Earth from Krypton by his father, Superman (Kal-El) is discovered and raised by a compassionate couple. He eventually uncovers his superhuman abilities and uses them to combat evil in Metropolis while keeping his identity as reporter Clark Kent a secret.
This Superman figure is outfitted in custom, soft goods clothing reminiscent of the retro toy lines that shaped the licensed action figure market in the 1970s. Adorned with his trademark cape, the Man of Steel includes interchangeable flying hands, fisted hands, and comes with a NECA flight stand to help display him in dynamic flying positions. The figure is packaged in collector-friendly window box packaging.
