The new trailer for DC's Lanterns provides a first glimpse of Sinestro and hints at the Manhunters.

      With just over three weeks remaining until its debut, HBO Max has released a new trailer for its DC Studios series Lanterns. The trailer showcases more of Aaron Pierre’s John Stewart and Kyle Chandler’s Hal Jordan, marks the return of Nathan Fillion’s Guy Gardner, offers a first look at Ulrich Thomsen’s Sinestro, and hints at a shape-shifting Manhunter; watch the trailer below.

      The series centers on newcomer John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) and Lantern veteran Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler), two intergalactic officers entangled in a dark, Earth-based mystery with cosmic connections as they probe into a murder that occurs in the American heartland.

      In addition to Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre, the cast of Lanterns features Kelly Macdonald as Sheriff Kelly, Garrett Dillahunt as William Macon, Poorna Jagannathan as Zoe, Sherman Augustus and J. Alphonse Nicholson as John Senior, Jasmine Cephas Jones as Bernadette Stewart, Ulrich Thomsen as Sinestro, and Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner.

      Lanterns is set to premiere on HBO Max on August 17, 2026.
