Interview with the Vampire is rebranding as Queen of the Damned, alongside a teaser for season 4.

      Following the conclusion of *The Vampire Lestat*, AMC announced during their SDCC Hall H panel that the *Interview with the Vampire* anthology will be returning for a fourth season, now titled *Anne Rice’s Queen of the Damned*.

      The panel debuted a teaser trailer featuring Sheila Atim reprising her role as Akasha, the first vampire. Atim was first seen in *The Vampire Lestat*, where she was awakened from her slumber. The season finale hinted at her destructive ascent, and the teaser elaborates on this by depicting her desire for power as she incites a revolution with herself at the forefront. *Queen of the Damned* is the third installment in Rice’s *Vampire Chronicles*, following *Interview* and *Lestat*.

      Hannah Moscovitch will serve as showrunner for *Anne Rice’s Queen of the Damned*. Moscovitch previously contributed to *Interview with the Vampire* and crafted the characters of Akasha and Gabriella in *The Vampire Lestat*. She will also be an executive producer alongside Mark Johnson and Rolin Jones from *The Vampire Lestat*.

      *Anne Rice’s Queen of the Damned* is set to premiere on AMC in 2027.
