Doctor Who: The Twelfth Doctor Adventures – The Beautiful and the Damned is now available from Big Finish.
The third episode of The Twelfth Doctor Adventures: Run Fast, Be Kind miniseries has been released by Big Finish Productions. Entitled The Beautiful and the Damned, written by Katherine White, this episode takes the Twelfth Doctor and his new companion Ash to Mentior City, a futuristic utopia for those obsessed with social media and content creation.
Upon their arrival in the advanced metropolis of Mentior City, the Twelfth Doctor (Jon Culshaw) and Ash (Gwithian Evans) encounter what seems to be a dream locale for aspiring content creators and influencers.
Managed by Best Life Inc., Mentior City claims to ensure that everyone achieves success and beauty through their unique Refiner system, but beneath the façade of this alluring city lies a more sinister truth, one that the time-travelling pair is eager to reveal.
Guest artists in The Beautiful and the Damned include Rafiella Chapman as Sky, a young woman searching for her sister in the city, Ella Dale as Georgia, Mentior City's security chief, and Malcolm Sinclair as Monty, the city's leader.
The Twelfth Doctor Adventures: The Beautiful and the Damned is now available for download for those who purchase the Run Fast, Be Kind miniseries. This six-part series can be acquired for £43.99, with remaining episodes set to be released weekly.
