MGM+ has released the first trailer, poster, and images for American Hostage, an upcoming anthology series inspired by the acclaimed scripted podcast of the same title. This psychological thriller follows the story of a radio reporter who becomes ensnared in a terrifying and challenging situation when a man holding his mortgage broker captive demands to be interviewed live on air.
The cast features Jon Hamm as Fred Heckman, Giovanni Ribisi as Tony Kiritsis, Kristoffer Polaha as Dick Hall, William Jackson Harper as Ben Hairston, Mireille Enos as Barbara Heckman, Jonathan Tucker as FBI Special Agent Cormac McNally, and Kat Cunning as Ibby Hall. Check out the trailer below…
