      Garret Dillahunt visited Flickering Myth to discuss DC's Lanterns…

      "I believe I'm a strong counterpart for the Lanterns," remarks actor Garret Dillahunt about his upcoming character in DC Studios' Lanterns. Before the series debuts, Dillahunt took the opportunity to chat with me regarding his work as he returns to the western genre in this genre-defying new superhero series set to air on HBO Max.

      While he remains tight-lipped about specifics, Dillahunt hints that the dynamic between Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre is crucial for audiences to witness. He expressed, "I’m looking forward to fans experiencing the interaction between Kyle and Aaron; their chemistry is fantastic, and they portray very distinct Lanterns. Nathan (Fillion) joins later on..."

      The series features new recruit John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) alongside Lantern icon Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler), as the two intergalactic officers delve into a grim, earthbound mystery with cosmic implications while investigating a murder in the American heartland.

      In addition to Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre, the cast of Lanterns includes Kelly Macdonald as Sheriff Kelly, Garrett Dillahunt as William Macon, Poorna Jagannathan as Zoe, Sherman Augustus and J. Alphonse Nicholson as John Senior, Jasmine Cephas Jones as Bernadette Stewart, Ulrich Thomsen as Sinestro, and Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner.
