Exclusive Interview – Garret Dillahunt talks about his role as a villain in Lanterns and reflects on his varied career.

      Garret Dillahunt visited Flickering Myth to discuss his role in DC’s Lanterns. “I believe I serve as a good complement to the Lanterns,” stated Dillahunt regarding his upcoming character in DC Studios’ Lanterns. Before the series debuts, he took the opportunity to talk about his return to the western genre as it ties into the innovative new superhero series set to premiere on HBO Max.

      While keeping details under wraps, Dillahunt hinted at the importance of the interactions between Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre, expressing, “I’m thrilled for fans to witness the dynamics between Kyle and Aaron; I believe they have excellent chemistry and are distinctly different Lanterns. Then Nathan (Fillion) joins us toward the conclusion…”

      The series centers on new recruit John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) and Lantern veteran Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler), two intergalactic officers who become embroiled in a dark, earth-bound mystery with cosmic connections as they investigate a murder in the heart of America.

      In addition to Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre, the Lanterns cast features Kelly Macdonald as Sheriff Kelly, Garrett Dillahunt as William Macon, Poorna Jagannathan as Zoe, Sherman Augustus and J. Alphonse Nicholson as John Senior, Jasmine Cephas Jones as Bernadette Stewart, Ulrich Thomsen as Sinestro, and Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner.
