Netflix releases trailer for the Dutch thriller series The Perfect Lie.

      Netflix has unveiled a trailer for The Perfect Lie, an upcoming Dutch thriller series based on Saskia Noort’s novel The Dinner Club.

      This series centers around Karen, who, after relocating to Bergen, receives an invitation to join her neighbors’ lavish dinner club. However, when one of their opulent villas catches fire, Karen uncovers that her entire circle of friends is built on deception, with each member concealing their own sinister secret.

      The cast features Loes Haverkort, Remko Vrijdag, Noortje Herlaar, Edwin Jonker, Rifka Lodeizen, Matthijs van de Sande Bakhuyzen, Charlie-Chan Dagelet, and Teun Luijkx. Watch the trailer below…

      After moving to Bergen with her family, Karen is warmly embraced by the dinner club, a captivating group of friends who indulge in a luxurious and hedonistic lifestyle. However, tragedy strikes when one of the extravagant villas is engulfed in flames, resulting in the death of their friend Evert, with his wife and children narrowly escaping. Karen soon realizes that their seemingly close friendship is underpinned by lies, with everyone hiding something. Nothing is as it appears. Determined to uncover the truth, Karen embarks on a quest, but at what expense?

      The Perfect Lie premieres on Netflix on September 10th.
