The water in Crystal Lake is starting to bubble as Peacock unveils two new posters for its upcoming prequel series to Friday the 13th.
Set to premiere this October, Crystal Lake centers on Pam Voorhees (Linda Cardellini), a grieving mother embroiled in a disturbing series of events a year after the drowning of her son Jason.
After a long time in development, the series is finally realized by showrunner Brad Caleb Kane (IT: Welcome to Derry) and features a cast that includes William Catlett, Devin Kessler, Cameron Scoggins, Gwendolyn Sundstrom, Callum Vinson, Nick Cordileone, Joy Suprano, Danielle Kotch, and Phoenix Parnevik. This prequel to the Friday the 13th series tells the story of single mother Pam Voorhees, who has struggled to cope with her grief since her young, frail son Jason tragically drowned in the town lake nearly a year ago. When two strangers appear at Pam’s door to investigate her past, a disturbing series of events unfolds, leaving the residents of Crystal Lake questioning: who exactly is Pam Voorhees?
Crystal Lake will be available for streaming on Peacock starting October 15th.
