The X-Files is making a comeback in comic book form thanks to Dynamite and Disney.

      It's an exhilarating period for The X-Files enthusiasts, as a reboot led by Black Panther director Ryan Coogler is rapidly materializing, Chris Carter's director’s cut The X-Files: I Want to Believe – Vrach Frankenshteyn is debuting on Hulu, and the franchise creator is hinting at more adventures for David Duchovny’s Fox Mulder and Gillian Anderson’s Dana Scully following the conclusion of the eleventh season in 2018.

      Whether a twelfth season will actually happen is still uncertain, but fans can look forward to the return of Mulder and Scully in comic book form, with Dynamite Entertainment and Disney Publishing Worldwide announcing an upcoming ongoing series from veteran The X-Files comic writer Joe Harris and emerging artist Riley Brown.

      The X-Files #1 is set to be released this winter.
