The trailer for season 2 of Star Wars: Ahsoka was revealed at Disney's D23 event.
At the Star Wars Panel during D23, LucasFilm President Dave Filoni, along with stars Rosario Dawson (Ahsoka Tano), Hayden Christensen (Anakin Skywalker), and Eman Esfandi (Ezra Bridger), unveiled the highly anticipated first trailer for the upcoming second season of Star Wars: Ahsoka.
The second season centers on Ahsoka and her apprentice Sabine as they navigate their way back home from Peridea, while Hera, Ezra, Zeb, and Chopper confront Grand Admiral Thrawn, who has initiated a war against the New Republic.
Star Wars: Ahsoka season two features Rosario Dawson (Ahsoka Tano), Natasha Liu Bordizzo (Sabine Wren), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Hera Syndulla), Eman Esfandi (Ezra Bridger), Ivanna Sakhno (Shin Hati), David Tennant (Huyang), and Lars Mikkelsen (Grand Admiral Thrawn), with Rory McCann (Game of Thrones) stepping into the role of Baylan Skoll, previously held by the late Ray Stevenson, and Hayden Christensen returning as Anakin Skywalker. Season 2 continues the tale of Ahsoka Tano and her remarkable journey beyond the known galaxy. As Ahsoka and Jedi apprentice Sabine Wren traverse a strange and dangerous world to return home, their allies Hera, Ezra, Zeb, and Chopper must confront the formidable Grand Admiral Thrawn and his nefarious allies, who aim to bring the New Republic into chaos.
Star Wars: Ahsoka season 2 is set to premiere on January 20th.
