      HBO Max’s popular medical drama *The Pitt* has unveiled its first teaser for the anticipated third season, featuring Noah Wyle’s Dr. Robby returning to the pitt after a lengthy sabbatical. Check out the teaser below…

      *The Pitt* chronicles the daytime crew of the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Centre’s ER department, unfolding in near real-time over their 15-hour shift. The third season is set to take place on November 12th, the day following Veteran’s Day and shortly before Thanksgiving, marking Robby's first day back at the pitt.

      This teaser arrives just before the 78th Emmy Awards on September 14th, where *The Pitt* has garnered 25 nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series and 13 nominations for acting. It leads the nominations for a single show this year, particularly in acting categories.

      Joining Wyle in the cast are Patrick Ball (Dr. Langdon), Katherine LaNasa (Dana Evans), Fiona Dourif (Dr. McKay), Taylor Dearden (Dr. King), Isa Briones (Dr. Santos), Gerran Howell (Dr. Whitaker), Shabana Azeez (Javadi), Ayesha Harris (Dr. Ellis), Sepideh Moafi (Dr. Al-Hashimi), and Shawn Hatosy (Dr. Abbot).

      New faces in the third season include Stephen Chang (Bosch: Legacy), Barry Clifton (The Madison), Chris Diamantopoulos (Dark Matter), Lawrence Kao (Criminal), Brent Sexton (The Madison), JB Tadena (The Adventures of Cliff Booth), and Hannah Ware (The First), portraying a variety of new patients and doctors. They will be joined by other newcomers Pruitt Taylor Vince (Superman), Malachi Beasley (A House of Dynamite), Cheyenne Perez (The Sex Lives of College Girls), Jeremy Radin (The Plan), Charlz Williams (The Family Business), and Rosanny Zayas (The Upshaws).

      *The Pitt* offers an authentic look at the hardships faced by healthcare workers in present-day America, depicted through the experiences of the frontline heroes at a modern hospital in Pittsburgh.

      Season 3 of *The Pitt* is set to premiere in January 2027.
