Michael Myers makes a comeback in comics with a tie-in series for Halloween: The Game.

With IllFonic's Halloween: The Game set to debut in just a few weeks, Daily Dead has the exclusive news on a companion comic book from PANICK Entertainment. The limited series, titled Halloween: The Game Comic, will launch in November, featuring writers Hans Rodionoff and Adam F. Goldberg and artists Eamon Winkle, Robert Nugent, Ivan Dedov, and Sean O’Toole.

The comic aims to “broaden the universe and characters of the upcoming video game while providing a standalone horror narrative inspired by the lore and ambiance that established the original 1978 film as a benchmark in the genre.” It “kicks off on the eve of Halloween 1978, as Michael Myers plans a brutal escape from Smith’s Grove Sanitarium, leaving behind a trail of bodies. As Dr. Loomis recognizes that pure evil has been unleashed, Michael embarks on his relentless journey back to Haddonfield, slaughtering anyone unfortunate enough to stand in his way.”

“Halloween is one of the cornerstones of contemporary horror, and this game and story presents readers with an exceptional opportunity to reconnect with the characters and world that began it all, while introducing some surprising and chilling new elements for fans,” stated Kris Longo, Founder and CEO of PANICK Entertainment. “The collaboration between Hans Rodionoff, Adam F. Goldberg, and this outstanding artistic team results in a remarkable Halloween comic. This portrays classic Michael Myers in full force, and we believe fans will enjoy experiencing some truly hair-raising moments that were absent from Carpenter’s original film.”

“At IllFonic, we take pride in creating immersive worlds for gamers' beloved stories,” added Charles Brungardt, CEO at IllFonic. “Expanding into comics with the formation of IllComic felt like a natural next step in our storytelling journey. There often seems to be more to narrate, and now we have a way to do that in an organic manner. With the right partners in place, we are extremely eager to explore this avenue.”

Halloween: The Game Comic #1 will be available on November 4th, 2026.
