Outlander: Blood of My Blood reveals a new trailer and poster for season 2.

      With just over three weeks remaining until the return of Outlander: Blood of My Blood for its second season, MGM+ has unveiled a poster and trailer for the prequel series. This installment chronicles the struggles of couples Henry and Julia, along with Brian and Ellen, as they desperately seek to reunite amidst battles, clan politics, and the perils of traveling through the infamous standing stones.

      The cast features Jeremy Irvine as Henry Beauchamp and Hermione Corfield as Julia Beauchamp, Claire’s parents, as well as Jamie Roy as Brian Fraser and Harriet Slater as Ellen MacKenzie, Jamie’s parents. Additionally, the series includes Tony Curran as Simon Fraser, Lord Lovat, Séamus McLean Ross as Colum MacKenzie, Sam Retford as Dougal MacKenzie, Rory Alexander as Murtagh Fitzgibbons Fraser, and Conor MacNeill as Ned Gowan.

      In the second season of Outlander: Blood of My Blood, our protagonists are once again divided as the Scottish Highlands face a rift due to the 1715 Jacobite Rising, plunging the clans into conflict and compelling them to take sides in the rebellion. With fiery crosses ignited, Brian and his cousin Murtagh return to Castle Leathers to pledge their loyalty to Brian's father, the cunning Simon Fraser, Lord Lovat. Ellen hesitantly heads back to Castle Leoch to locate her brothers, Colum and Dougal, who are at odds over how to respond to the call to arms. She cleverly devises a strategy to safeguard Clan MacKenzie from the Crown, regardless of the uprising's outcome. Meanwhile, Henry and Julia Beauchamp, finally reunited after their unexpected time-traveling ordeal left them lost and separated, are eager to return to their time and their daughter, Claire. However, when their plan goes tragically wrong, they find themselves torn apart once more. Stripped of his love and hope, Henry must confront his mental well-being as he strives to reunite with Julia, who must brave Castle Leathers and face her devious husband, Lord Lovat.

      Outlander: Blood of My Blood season 2 is set to premiere on Starz on September 18th.
