During one of the gravest crises faced by the Green Lantern Corps, young artist Kyle Rayner was selected as the universe’s singular Green Lantern by a Guardian of the Universe named Ganthet. Naut Ke Loi is an aquatic Lantern from Aeros, a water-laden world inhabited by various aquatic life forms. He can only breathe through his gills, necessitating that he always wears a helmet filled with water. If Naut Ke Loi is deprived of water for over five minutes, he will die. Despite his seemingly smaller stature, his cold-blooded, fish-like physique makes him predominantly muscle. His scaly skin is slippery to the touch and toxic to many creatures. This fast swimmer can use his speed in both space and water.

Medphyll is among the first members enlisted by the Guardians of the Universe, hailing from the botanical world, J586. These Mind Stalks are his only vital organs. Medphyll’s tropical home leaves him vulnerable on colder planets or in the vacuum of space. This Corps member has the remarkable ability to transfer his thought-essence to nearby plant life, making him well-suited for reconnaissance missions.
