The trailer for the new DC Studios series brings an animated adaptation of Anthony Bourdain’s Get Jiro to life.

      Adult Swim has released a red band trailer for Get Jiro, the forthcoming animated series from DC Studios based on the graphic novel of the same name by Anthony Bourdain and Joel Rose.

      The series, created by Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka (Sharper), follows a vengeful sushi master operating in the ruthless LA restaurant industry, where patrons are willing to commit murder to secure a prized table reservation.

      The voice cast includes Brian Tee, Titus Welliver, Alison Pill, and Justin Kirk. Watch the trailer below...

      Set in a future Los Angeles dominated by elite chefs, the story follows Jiro, a sushi master who becomes involved in a brutal culinary war, seeking revenge through his culinary talents in the cutthroat restaurant environment.

      Get Jiro will debut on October 3rd on Adult Swim.
