Clown in un campo di grano trailer scatena Frendo il Clown

      In vista della sua anteprima mondiale al SXSW di marzo, Shudder ha pubblicato un poster e un trailer per il prossimo horror Clown in a Cornfield del regista Eli Craig.

      Basato sull'omonimo romanzo del 2020 dell'autore Adam Cesare, il film vede la piccola città fratturata di Kettle Springs terrorizzata da Frendo il Clown, la figura sinistra che un tempo simboleggiava il successo della città.

      Il film è interpretato da Katie Douglas, Carson MacCormac, Aaron Abrams, Will Sasso e Kevin Durand. Guarda il trailer qui sotto…

      Quinn e suo padre si sono appena trasferiti nella tranquilla cittadina di Kettle Springs sperando in un nuovo inizio. Invece, scopre una comunità fratturata che è caduta in tempi difficili dopo che la preziosa fabbrica di sciroppo di mais Baypen è bruciata. Mentre i locali litigano tra di loro e la tensione ribolle, una figura sinistra e sorridente emerge dai campi di grano per ripulire la città dai suoi fardelli, una vittima sanguinosa alla volta. Benvenuti a Kettle Springs. Il vero divertimento inizia quando Frendo il clown esce a giocare.

      Clown in a Cornfield riceverà la sua anteprima mondiale al SXSW il 10 marzo, prima della sua uscita nelle sale il 9 maggio.
