Primo trailer per il successo di Cannes Club Kid di Jordan Firstman

      Un'osservazione comune dal Festival di Cannes di quest'anno ha posizionato i titoli laterali ben al di sopra della sezione della competizione più lussuosa e orientata ai premi, un giocatore frequente in tali argomenti essendo Club Kid di Jordan Firstman. E a differenza di molti film che debuttano nel sud della Francia in un maggio e potrebbero, se siamo fortunati, fare un'apparizione negli Stati Uniti attraverso mezzi marginali, il debutto cinematografico dell'attore non farà attendere a lungo: A24 rilascerà Club Kid il 6 novembre dopo le tappe al TIFF e al NYFF, e prima di questo arriva un primo trailer.

      Come ha detto Rory O’Connor nella nostra recensione di Cannes, “Per i fan che hanno seguito la carriera di Firstman da Rotting in the Sun a I Love LA, questo passaggio da anatra a acqua dietro la macchina da presa sarà una gradita sorpresa. È notevole che il film sia stato presentato in Un Certain Regard, una sezione che i programmatori del festival hanno spesso utilizzato come terreno di prova per le star del cinema che cercano di provare la loro mano al timone per la prima volta. La differenza con l'arrivo sicuro di Firstman è che sembra meno il lavoro di un dilettante e più quello di un naturale.”
