      Кеке Палмер только что стала лучшей актрисой года по версии NAACP Image Awards и продолжит свою карьеру в предстоящем сериале "За городом".

      В телевизионном ремейке фильма 1989 года Палмер играет главную роль, а к актерскому составу добавились шесть приглашенных звезд.

      Согласно Variety, в сериал были добавлены Хейли Джоэл Осмент ("Шестое чувство"), Арджи Сайлер ("Я, Эрл и умирающая девушка"), Джастин Кирк ("Сорняки"), Кайри Макалпин ("Уилл Трент"), Даниэль Кеннеди ("Наркос") и Рэнди Оглсби ("Ради всего человечества").

      Селеста Хьюи написала сценарий к фильму "За городом" и выступает в качестве исполнительного продюсера вместе с Палмером и Рэйчел Шукер. Дана Олсен, автор сценария оригинального фильма, является со-исполнительным продюсером.

      Согласно официальному тексту, действие сериала разворачивается в наши дни и “рассказывает о молодой паре, которая неохотно переезжает в дом детства мужа. Их мир переворачивается с ног на голову, когда в доме напротив появляется новый сосед, открывая старые тайны тупика, а новые смертельные угрозы разрушают иллюзию их тихого маленького района.
