      Snowfall Games has revealed that eerie events will be heading to PC later this year with the launch of their multiplayer murder mystery game, It Was You, on Steam. Players must be clever enough to eliminate their friends and hide their actions, or keen enough to identify the signs that point to the killer. Check out the new teaser trailer below…

      It Was You accommodates 5-12 participants at a murder mystery-themed Halloween party held at the notoriously haunted Tylock Estate. Upon arrival, players receive the role of either detective or killer and are equipped with tools necessary for either manipulating evidence or identifying the murderer. Detectives will have access to items such as magnifying glasses, blacklights for detecting blood, and even lie detectors. Meanwhile, killers can utilize tools like spray bottles to erase their fingerprints or tape to frame others.

      With the addition of acoustic proximity voice chat, the game aims to create a realistic sense of reverberation and occlusion, where conversations are softened when doors close and echoes resonate through the hallways. This feature enhances immersion, meaning killers will need to shut doors to keep their actions hidden effectively.

      The game will also include NPCs that must be eliminated first, providing a buffer for players to start their investigations before the possibility of becoming the next target arises.
