The Silver Shrike has been murdered, and finding the murderer has become a matter of honor for both the Green Hornet and Miss Fury, who each viewed the individual behind the Shrike's mask as a personal mentor. However, resolving the case quickly is also turning into a matter of survival, as the killer is now targeting additional masked crimefighters — and either of them could easily be the next victim!
The threat becomes personal for the inexperienced Miss Fury when she encounters the Emerald Vigilante during her investigation of the "mask murders" — and it falls upon her to prevent the Green Hornet from becoming the latest target!
