The Odyssey brings Christopher Nolan back together with Elliot Page, Hamish Patel, and Bill Erwin, while Samantha Morton also becomes part of the cast.

In the latest casting update for Christopher Nolan’s upcoming epic Greek tragedy, The Odyssey, several familiar faces from his past films are reuniting along with one new addition. Elliot Page, Hamish Patel, Bill Irwin, and Samantha Morton are now part of Nolan’s next project.

Page previously appeared in Inception as the second co-lead alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, while Patel was featured in Tenet alongside John David Washington and Robert Pattinson. Although Irwin did not have a physical role in Interstellar, he lent his voice to the robot TARS, who was a key companion to Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway during their space journey.

This will be Morton’s first collaboration with Nolan. She is well-known for her performances in The Walking Dead, Minority Report, The Serpent Queen, and The Whale.

The Odyssey will boast a large ensemble cast, many of whom have collaborated with Nolan in the past. The new additions join previously announced actors Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, and Jon Bernthal.

Nolan’s next film, The Odyssey, is a mythic action epic filmed globally using innovative Imax technology. This adaptation brings Homer’s classic saga to Imax screens for the first time and is set to be released in theaters on July 17, 2026.
