After five years of tranquility following the events of the first season, Joel and Ellie's shared history resurfaces, leading them into conflict with one another and dragging them into a world that is even more perilous and unpredictable than what they once knew.
The second season of The Last of Us features Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey reprising their roles as Joel and Ellie, with Diego Luna returning as Tommy. New additions to the cast include Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, Danny Ramirez as Manny, and Jeffrey Wright as Isaac. Catherine O’Hara will also be making a guest appearance.
The Last of Us season 2 is set to premiere on HBO in April 2025.

A collaboration between an auteur and an actor that closely resembles last week's pairing of Johnnie To and Tony Leung comes from Variety.
