A new Doctor Who - The Third Doctor Adventure has been released by Big Finish.

      For those interested in more adventures of the Third Doctor, Big Finish Productions has launched Doctor Who – The Third Doctor Adventures: Doctor Who and the Brain Drain, marking the first Third Doctor narrative of 2025. This new audio tale transports listeners to Scotland alongside Liz Shaw and the Brigadier. A new video is available below, offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the production of this latest audio drama.

      The recently exiled Third Doctor is beginning to adapt to his position as UNIT's scientific advisor when he, along with Dr. Liz Shaw and Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, are unexpectedly dispatched to Scotland for a symposium at an impressive castle. There, Professor MacLeod and her son are unveiling a new approach to treating memory loss and a potential remedy for dementia. However, this new treatment appears to be linked to sightings of unusual mythical creatures on the grounds and various ghosts wandering the castle's corridors. Can the Doctor and his team uncover what is happening to the energy generated by the MacLeods' treatment? And what is the bizarre creature that is roaming the castle’s grounds?

      Tim Treloar reprises his role as the Third Doctor in this fresh seven-part tale written by Richard James and Nicholas Briggs. He is joined by Daisy Ashford as Dr. Liz Shaw, Jon Culshaw as the Brigadier, Rosalyn Landor as Professor Abigail MacLeod, Callum Pardoe as Linus MacLeod, Susan Harrison as Dr. Fiona Lynch/June Wellesley, Glen McCready as Professor Albert Heber/The Steward/Andrew Wellesley, Mark Elstob as Peter MacLeod/Nelophex, and Milo Ratter as Crouch.

      Doctor Who – The Third Doctor Adventures: Doctor Who and the Brain Drain is now available for purchase on the Big Finish website as a limited Collector’s Edition CD box set and digital download for £24.99, or as a digital download only for £19.99. The website also offers bundles for those looking to buy this along with the second Third Doctor Adventures box set for 2025, set to release in October.
