The Until Dawn trailer hints at endless nightmares in the video game adaptation of the horror genre.
Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions have released a new trailer for their film adaptation of the time-loop horror video game Until Dawn.
Inspired by the 2015 game of the same name, Until Dawn follows a group of friends who venture into a foreboding "remote area" only to be brutally hunted down by monsters, only to revive and experience the same events repeatedly. The screenplay is penned by Gary Dauberman, known for Annabelle Comes Home, and the film is directed by David F. Sandberg, known for Annabelle: Creation. You can watch the new trailer below…
“One year after her sister Melanie mysteriously vanished, Clover and her friends venture into the secluded valley where she disappeared to seek answers. While exploring an abandoned visitor center, they become the targets of a masked killer, who gruesomely murders them one by one… only for them to wake up and find themselves back at the start of the same night. Trapped in the valley, they must endure the nightmare repeatedly – with each encounter bringing a different and increasingly terrifying version of the killer. As hope fades, the group realizes they have a finite number of lives left, and their only chance of escape is to survive until dawn.”
